Celerant and Sports South Expand Smart Order Program with Automated Enhancements for FFL Dealers
Cullen Gilbert, VP of Supply Chain at Sports South
I’m really excited about our new Smart Order Program with our partner, Celerant.
So our whole goal with Smart Ordering is to make sure that the dealers remain in stock.
So when they partner with Celerant and use the min-max feature on their side, we can now pull that into Sports South.
Placing and Managing Orders All in One Smart Place
So when you log into the Shooting Warehouse, where most dealers go to place orders, see new items, there’s going to be a new tab based off their mins and maxes in the Celerant system.
They can now see what an order should look like.
Sports South Tracks Inventory Information for Dealers
We’ll be able to track that information down to a sale.
So when you fall below your minimum, Sports South will be there ready to help you get a PO place for that item again, so you can remain in stock.
Minimum/Maximum Levels Sync Both Ways in Shared Software
Probably the most exciting piece in this new integration is that the min-max levels sync both ways.
That really helps the dealer because if they have min-max levels set for products in our software, it’s going to sync to SportSouth.
Saving Dealers Time and Money with Auto Sync
Simultaneously, if they’re on the Sport South website and they’re changing the min-max, that’s going to flow right back into our software.
So having that synced is going to save the dealer a ton of time.
Partnerships with a Strong Foundation for Mutual Benefit
We’ve had integrations with Celerant for over a decade, so they were a great partner when we decided to really lean into this Smart Order idea.
They helped develop it from the beginning to where we are now, ready to launch.
